OUR PROGRAMS

Sojourners’ Alliance operates a transitional housing facility for homeless men, women and families, as well as a permanent housing program for literally homeless individuals and families with a diagnosed disability. Our programs offer long-term housing, supplemental food assistance, case management, counseling services, and referrals to other area agencies in an effort to help our clients become self-sufficient and get back on their feet.

Transitional Housing Requirements

In order to enter the program, prospective
clients are required to:

  • Meet the federal definition of homelessness

  • Participate in weekly case management meetings and group meetings with other housing users

  • Sign a release of information form necessary for collaboration with other agencies on client’s behalf

  • Supply own transportation and childcare

  • Agree to stay for a minimum length of time

  • Agree to an entry urinalysis for drug testing, and random urinalyses if needed

  • Comply with all policies for housing clients, including maintaining a drug, alcohol and violence free environment
